Village for Vet was formed in January 2016. The organization was created to provide a charitable vehicle for the communities and neighborhoods adjacent to the VAGLAHS to benefit the Veterans served there.
The rebranding of Village for Vets is to communicate a relationship within the community and our Veterans. The branding includes stationery, street banners, website, web banners, and apparel. The street banners are to promote their annual event, Stand Down, that offers free services to homeless veterans. The community volunteers for events to help Village for Vets, the apparel is created for volunteers to wear at events and to hand out as giveaways.
